This is a full time continuing position at an HEP 6, $82,372 - $89,161 classification, plus 17% superannuation, working 36.75 hours per week.

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join our VU Sport team to plan, promote and deliver a range of programs and events to engage students, including representative and high performance sporting programs, on campus social sport and the fostering and development of sporting clubs.

About the person

Bring your passion for the role sport has to enhance the student experience and for student engagement and development. Utilise your well-developed organisational and project management experience and skills to deliver multiple programs and events. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator able to develop and maintain close and effective network links with internal and external stakeholders.

Duties

Reponsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Coordinating representative sport including UniSport Championships, leagues and other intervarsity competitions, including recruitment and support for participants, team managers and volunteers.
  • Planning and delivering social sport across multiple campuses, including come and try sessions and intramural competitions.
  • Providing operational and governance support and assistance to sporting clubs and community affiliates.
  • Assistance to support eligible student-athletes as part of the Elite Athlete Program.
