BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for highly motivated and ambitious individual to join as Assistant Software Development Lead at our Luxembourg Technical Center in Bascharage.

Assist the Software Development Lead in following activities:

• Managing the project software team, including task delegation and work schedule
• Maintaining software project documentation
• Scheduling, organizing, and logging the needed meetings among the team members.
• Coordinate systems inputs needed for SW deliveries.
• Assisting with the preparation and proofing of project deliverables
• Monitor and measure performance at a SW project level (metrics), reports status within the Project Team and towards Line Management
• Ensuring that the software project team is properly trained to perform all aspects of the project.
• Support audits – internal and external

Requirements:

• Senior student or graduate of university in fields of Management, Computer Science, Electronics, Informatics (or equivalent)
• Ability to plan and organize.
• Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Power Point),
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• English (fluent read, write, speak)
• Ability to relate to individuals at all levels and build appropriate relationships.

Valuable:

• Experience with globally distributed teams
• Experience with project management software tools, JIRA
• Knowledge of the V model for software development

Start date: July or September

Duration: minimum of 3 months
