Procurement team is part of the division “Corporate Development”. The purpose of Procurement is to ensure that the goods and services are procured with advantageous balance of price, quality and performance for Alpiq Group.
Procurement is now looking for an experienced Stategic buyer/Category Manager to extend the Swiss-Czech team for indirect procurement.
The scope of Procurement are goods and services in the following categories: Professional Services, Facility Management Services, IT & Market data. (Energy assets and asset development are not in scope)


Your responsibilities:

  • Procurement activities for Alpiq CZ across purchasing categories (with focus on Professional services and Facility Management services)
  • Center of Excellence for Contingent Workforce for Alpiq (CH and CZ)
  • Define, implement and manage the European category strategies
  • Secure the availability of goods and services across Europe with a focus on group-wide performance and priorities
  • Manage the RFX process for all tenders and execute the RFX for frame agreements
  • Drive efficiency programs across Europe together with the stakeholders for your categories Measure the group wide compliance on the category strategy execution
  • Manage claims and supplier negotiations

Your Qualification:

  • 5+ years of experience in Category management on international field for professional Services
  • Very good knowledge of the Czech and Central/Eastern European markets
  • Proficient Czech and English, German as a strong advantage
  • Good understanding of Contingent Workforce
  • Good ability to drive initiatives in a multicultural environment
  • Good level of social competence, strong communication and negotiation skills
  • Capability to drive cross business initiatives
  • Trustworthy personality and resilient
