Logistics & Facilities Assistant
Based in our Head Office, Glasnevin the Logistics & Facilities Assistant will report into our Chief Operations Officer.
Summary of Role:
This role will involved working with both the Event & Clinical Services & Training Managers within Codeblue and working closely with the existing team within logistics.
Task & Responsibilities:
- Setting up & maintaining all equipment including ACLS/ PALS/PEARS/ APLS/ BLS/ AED/ HCP Courses;
- Maintaining EMT/P/AP Medical Bags in line with PHECC CPGs and Codeblue’s policies and procedures;
- Maintaining EMT/P/AP Medication Bags; in line with PHECC CPGs and Codeblue’s policies and procedures;
- Maintaining CVRT/Insurance/Road Worthiness of all Codeblue vehicles in accordance with Codeblue’s policies & procedures and requirements of RSA.
- Maintain Cleanliness of all medical equipment & vehicles in accordance with Codeblue’s policies & procedures;
- Logistical support and transport of Codeblue’s field hospitals / 24 & 48 systems to events throughout Ireland.
- Logistical support and transport of all Course Set-up throughout Ireland.
- Assist Training Manager in tasks throughout the week in general logistic tasks;
- Assist Event & Clinical Services Managers in logistical support of Equipment/ Bags/ PCR & ACR Collection from venues.
- Assist with logistical needs around Codeblue managed premises;
- Liaising with Instructors on all courses to ensure the smooth running of the day with equipment, faulty equipment, tea/coffee & lunch facilities;
- Liaising with Training Manager on equipment, logistics and setting up of courses around Ireland in both Hotels and Hospitals.
- Maintain good relations & appearance with all clients/ course attendees/ staff/ Instructors & Practitioners;
- Maintain good relations with Hospital Resus Officers and external clients to ensure there needs are met.
- Assist with the clean-up of rubbish and debris from building exterior; remove snow and de-ice walks; maintain grass and plants; replace light bulbs; clean windows and general upkeep of the Codeblue buildings.
- Will involve overnight stays in Hotels and late night driving/ weekend work.
- May involve trips to our UK office for logistical support at events and festivals.
- Manage stock controls for Festival Equipment;
- Manage stock controls for Ambulance Equipment and Medical Response Bags;
- Deep Cleaning of all Codeblue Vehicles.
- Any other adhoc tasks that may be required to assist with the running of Codeblue Events & Training departments.
Qualifications/Experience
- Full clean drivers licence;
- C1 licence desired;
