Position Summary:
Responsible for supervising, monitoring and attending to park rides, including boarding and securing passengers, starting rides, and ensuring passengers exit safely. Scope & Responsibilities:
- To acquire park knowledge in order to be able to assist with any guest problems.
- Operates rides at the maximum capacity while making sure to do it in the safest way possible.
- Records attraction hourly counts and hourly wait times.
- Oversees and pays special attention to all children, not only in a service but also safety point of view. Assists and informs guests on a voluntary or involuntary basis of general-park knowledge throughout the day.
- Follows departmental safety and ride procedures at all times.
- Helps guests while entering and exiting on/off rides/attractions while assuring guest safety at all times.
- Handle guests’ enquirers.
- Patrols park and sweeps main pathways, landscape areas and queue lines.
- Empties and cleans park trash bins before becoming full or over-flowing.
- Cleans and tidies guest restrooms throughout the Park as well as keeping them stocked with supplies.
- Follows departmental, safety and chemical-handling procedures at all times.
- Reports any problems, faults, or safety issues to the supervisory team. Is trained in handling hygienic waste using chemicals and equipment provided.
Background & Experience:
- Graduates of high school or other equivalent levels of education.
- A minimum of 2 years of Theme Park or related customer service experience is preferred.
- Ability to speak and read basic English language.
- Ability to work in an exposed/outdoor environment.
Additional Information:
- Malaysian.
- Fully vaccinated (including Booster).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support park operations.
