Accounting Specialist [Egypt]


 

Job Summary


As a Accounting Specialist for Qoyod Egypt office manages and oversees the day-to-day accounting operations, prepares financial reports, ensures compliance with local regulations, reconciles accounts, maintains accurate records, liaises with auditors and tax authorities, provides financial analysis to management, develops accounting policies and procedures.


Responsibilities


  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day accounting operations of the company.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Ensure compliance with local tax and accounting regulations.
  • Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
  • Liaise with external auditors and tax authorities as required.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to management as needed.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures

Qualifications and Skills


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Accountant in Egypt, with 3-4 years of relevant work experience.
  • Solid knowledge of Egyptian accounting principles, tax regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Familiarity with financial analysis techniques and financial reporting standards.
